Play Restore Keys

Check your Android app's assetlinks.json and get the exact setup for Google Play restore keys.

Check your app

One detail per line, as in the example. Backend: firebase, supabase, clerk or other. Client: kotlin, flutter, react-native, capacitor or other. For fingerprints you can paste ./gradlew signingReport output (up to 5).

Free: 10 checks a day, no account needed.

Each 4,000 characters, or part of it, uses 1 of your checks. This checks the details you give and the assetlinks.json file on your domain. It does not test the app and is not a Google Play compliance review. Nothing you enter is stored; we fetch only the public assetlinks.json on the domain you name.

Why this matters

From April 2027 Google Play requires apps that sign users in to sign them back in on a new phone without asking. Google calls these restore keys Restore Credentials. They need an assetlinks.json file on your domain and a small passkey (WebAuthn) server. An earlier way around this, Block Store, closed to new apps on 30 September 2026. This free check is for Android apps that sign users in with Firebase Authentication and have no passkey server.

A hosted restore-key server for Firebase Auth apps?

We are considering running the relying-party server for Firebase Authentication apps, so you would not have to build it. Nothing is for sale. If you sign in below, you can join the waitlist and we will send one email if we start selling it.
